The thing about that is, if a DLC just dropped then some life comes back to the game, I've observed the game with half my experience since 2016 on PS4 and the other half on PC exclusively so DLC only works like a blood transfusion for this game at least on PC. At any given time reading this your experience may be different in the moment you might say, hey it's not dead i can go see people playing it or people online right now. Xenoverse on PC, can be quite dead, there are a number of reasons for that. Since then I've been on PC from 2019-2022 ever since. Hey, PC Steam Xenoverse player here, I used to be on the PS4 version between 2016 to about 2019 and I participated in the Xenoverse2 beta. Now let's all enjoy this gem of a game and keep our collective fingers crossed that Xenoverse 3 will finally see the light of day sometime in the future! I can't possibly be the only one still loving the absolute hell out of the game, and from what my own personal experiences as well as steam's statistics not to mention the overall activity of the Xenoverse 2 community on here seem to suggest, the game still seems to be in a healthy state! To me it doesn't seem like the game is dead, nor has been dying for the past many years, and i simply want to hear other peoples opinion on this. While the Playstation 4 playerbase is by far the biggest when compared to PC (I have the game on both platforms), it seems that the player count for Xenoverse 2 has been more or less consistent on PC ever since late 2016 with the average number sitting somewhere between 2-3k players daily. To me this has always been a childhood dream come true, and while i personally haven't noticed much of a downfall, i seem to hear people everywhere spouting on about how the game is dead.

In my opinion Xenoverse 2 along with FighterZ is the ultimate Dragon Ball experience and the closest true fans of the series will ever get to immerse themselves within the Dragon Ball universe - especially with all the freedom it gives you in terms of creating your own character with each of their unique abilities and becoming part of Dragon Ball's history.

Speaking as a dedicated Xenoverse 2 player here i love the game with all my heart and still genuinely play it even after all the years that have gone by.
